do you like those days? days where you have time to get some things accomplished that maybe you were putting off or just didn't see how you would have time during the week to even start (especially when there is a deadline?) or have a free day where some ideas just popped up into your head and so you tried them out and it didn't end up that bad?
today, my thursday is relaxed - or at least i feel relaxed while having work to do.
#1: make a pinata for my friend's birthday party. the first layer is on - first time i ever made a pinata and i used flour and water for the paper mache and let me just say - messy but fun!! who doesn't like getting their hands messy??!?? layer 2 will be done later today - bring on the fun!

#2: made lazy golubtzi for lunch - trying to get the recipe right for this Russian dish -- stuffed cabbage, but the lazy part is you just stick all ingredients in a pot and cook it down as a stew/soup. wasn't too bad but added more water at the end because it was a bit too thick!

| made w/ turkey sausage, cabbage, some carrot (not in original recipe), onion, garlic, parsley, orzo (instead of rice), tomato paste and water. |
#3: bread would go great with #2 but i definitely was thinking more about cheddar biscuits, so i found a recipe on line and just did my own thing off of that guide and viola! the awesomest cheddar biscuits i have ever made or had!! i could be biased, but seriously - if you tasted these you would be asking for more, while collecting drool from your mouth its comin' out so fast!
